Sr. Process Development Engineer:

Sr. Process Development Engineer for Hi-Reliability discrete product line which consists of Rectifiers, Zeners and TVS products; Responsibility will be for process development and process improvement.

The Sr. Process Development Engineer is expected to:

This position will be responsible for developing new products in the discrete diode product line as driven by sales and marketing. This position is required to interface with process engineering, QA, production, wafer fabrication, foundries and other research facilities. This position requires the engineer to be a self-starter and carry-out diverse tasks from failure analysis to design/simulation. Will need to complete diode design, development and bring to production, in a timely fashion. 

 

Required Experience and Knowledge

  • A Minimum of 10 years experience in the Hi-rel market for hermetic glass sealed diodes.

  • Knowledge of design and manufacture of power rectifier such as 1N5811, 1N6631 and “Category one bond” switching diodes such as 1N6642, 1N3595.
  • Knowledge of diode packaging with glass sleeve technology using hard or soft glass.
  • Experience with manufacturing equipment such as “DAP sealing equipment” as well as various manufacturing fixture development methods. 
  • Familiar with MIL - STD -750 test specifications.
  • Ability to establish priorities and maintain multiple priorities and tasks at one time.
  • Well-developed organizational and inter-personal skills. A self-starting and self-motivating individual with a positive attitude and influence on the organization.
  • Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team to achieve objectives.
  • Strong PC skills. Focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

 

Educational Requirements:

     Engineering degree required.
